This morning I got up in enough time to walk Duke (our dog), but did I? Of course not! I wasted valuable exercise time, a chance to spend time outdoors, and an opportunity to improve myself. I did eat a good breakfast though.
Today I have been doing well, as far as eating goes. I have been consistent and eating every two hours having 350-400 calorie meals and 200 calorie snacks. Usually, if I don't stay consistent I find myself getting so hungry that I want to eat everything in sight and everything in sight is not carrotts and bananas. I really wanted something sweet after lunch, but I popped in a piece of berry flavored gum and that craving went away soon. I've also found the best afternoon snack ever for chocolate lovers, ice cream lovers, etc! Edy's Slow Churned Rich & Creamy Chocolate. It comes in the cutest little container you ever did see, and it's 170 calories, add almonds (if you like them) and you have the perfect sized and really yummy snack!
Tonight, Billy and I went on a date. The movies and dinner. Dinner was ok. I wouldn't say I made the wisest choices, but when I saw all the people bulging from their clothes, I quickly lost my appetite. I do not want to end up like that. I know I'm not there yet, but if I don't take control I soon could be.
I also checked out the new location of Anytime Fitness (my gym) in Ames, which just so happens to be about 3 blocks from where I work! I am going to check it out tomorrow...
